Introduction
Embers of the World Tree, the first mini-set released in 2025, has given us 38 new cards, and changed the meta considerably.
Today, we'll show you the three most winning decks in the current meta, according to HSReplay on April 18th, 2025. Please note that not all of these decks play cards from the new mini-set.
Imbue Hunter
This list centers around Imbuing your Hero Power. So, as this is a Hunter list, you'll be using your Hero Power to buff and discount the cost of a Beast in your hand.

If you don't know what Imbue does, here's a brief explanation: the first time you use it on your Hero Power, you'll swap it with the one shown in the image above. After that, whenever you Imbue your Hero Power, it will buff and discount the Beast in your hand by 1 more. As this entire deck centers around this, you'll easily be able to use your Hero Power to discount the card in question by 3 or 4 mana and buff it by +3 or +4.

To take advantage of this effect, this list also plays Sing-Along Buddy, as well as Exotic Houndmaster, Flutterwing Guardian, and Umbraclaw to Imbue the Hero Power itself.

The actual goal is to buff King Plush as much as possible. This Dinosaur has Charge and is also quite powerful naturally, so, when you buff it, it'll become your main way to deal damage. Of course that, even if you buff it with your Hero Power two or three times, it still won't defeat the opponent with a single strike, and that's why this list plays Tending Dragonkin. This card from the new mini-set is what put Imbue Hunter in the meta. It is essential, as it lets you deal twice or three times as much damage with the same minions.

With this combination of cards, you'll often have two or three buffed, discounted King Plush in your hand, as shown below. I had two Dinosaurs and another Tending Dragonkin, so I could create another copy if I wanted to.

Please note that this list also plays several cards that draw or Discover other cards in your deck. Petal Picker, Exotic Houndmaster, Tracking, Birdwatching, and many others will give you the resources you need to win, like your Imbue cards and King Plush.

Win Condition
Obviously, the several copies of King Plush that Tending Dragonkin creates are your main way to win. This combo is practically your only real chance to defeat the opponent, but it will nearly always work.

As this Dinosaur returns all the cards that have less attack than it has to their respective decks, you'll be able to go through any enemy Taunt. You'll also shuffle your other copies of King Plush and Tending Dragonkin back into your deck, so you'll create more copies of it and make this combo nearly infinite.
Mulligan
Your mulligan is extremely simple. The main goal is Imbuing your Hero Power as much as you can, so you need Bitterbloom Knight and Exotic Houndmaster.
You'll also need to draw a lot of cards to make Imbue Hunter work. More specifically, you don't have anything too important to do on turn 1, so you should look for a Tracking or a Fetch! instead.

Zerg Token Hunter
Zerg Token Hunter might not be the most winning deck in the format anymore, but it is still among the top 3, with a 58.57% win rate. It mostly remained the same ever since it came out, and is still a viable option if you don't have the mini-set yet.
The main goal behind this list is filling your board with as many minions as possible, either with Extraterrestrial Egg, Workhorse, and other Deathrattles, as well as Wound Prey and other Zerg cards, like Kerrigan, Queen of Blades.

Once you've put lots of minions in play, then you can buff them all at the same time and make your board unbeatable. In particular, this list plays Evolution Chamber, R.C. Rampage, and Amphibian's Spirit. Finally, it plays Zilliax Deluxe 3000 equipped with the Pylon and Ticking modules, which is also a valuable resource, as it buffs your board.

Unlike Imbue Hunter, Zerg Token Hunter doesn't use a few specific cards to win. To beat your opponent, just focus on building a huge, solid board with the cards your deck will give you as you play.
Mulligan
As you want to put many minions in play, your opening hand should have Zergling, and Terrorscale Stalker to activate Extraterrestrial Egg's and Nerubian Egg's Deathrattle.

Patchwork Pals is also viable if you want to create more resources in your hand.

Menagerie Paladin
Ad
This version has been standing out since the beginning of Into the Emerald Dream, and it is still well-positioned in the meta. According to HSReplay, this deck has the highest win rate of all: 59.74%!
The whole idea behind Menagerie Paladin is buffing your own board, so it's quite similar to Zerg Token Hunter. Its name was inspired by Menagerie Jug.

This card buffs up to three minions by +2/+2, and is the main buff in this list. Look how two copies of it are already enough to make your board huge.

This list also plays Mother Duck and Muster for Battle to take advantage of other AoE buffs, like Busy-Bot and Crusader Aura.

However, what makes the Paladin version different is that it leans on minions with Divine Shield. They last a bit more on your board, and, as such, are also better with your buffs. That's why the legendary Toreth the Unbreaking is essential in most matchups - it makes your Divine Shields take three hits to break, so it'll make your minions even scarier to your opponent.

Win Condition
Just like Zerg Token Hunter, Menagerie Paladin's win condition isn't just one card, but rather a combination of them.
Mulligan
As this is an aggro list, I highly recommend you look for as many 1-cost minions as you can for your opening hand - Scarab Keychain, Murmy, and Fire Fly are great. If you want to put even more pressure on your opponent, you can save Busy-Bot for turn 3 or turn 4, when your side of the board is already full.

Embers of the World Tree is just a mini-set, so it didn't change the meta that drastically. Nonetheless, it has brought us essential cards that made Imbue Hunter itself rise to the top quite fast.
