Introduction
Last month, the latest Battlegrounds season was released! It brought us an unseen Hero, more mechanics, and a new reward track.
We, at Cards Realm, decided to compile the best comps around, and also go through every change announced in the new update. So, if you have just started playing Battlegrounds, this article is for you.
What Changed in Battlegrounds Season 8?
If you are already familiar with these changes, feel free to jump ahead.
Trinkets
Twice per match, on turns 6 and 9, a Trinket shop will appear. It will offer you four passive bonuses, and they each will cost a different amount of Gold.

This is a simple comp. The goal is to activate Leapfrogger's effect as much as possible. So, you'll focus on summoning your Beasts at the right time and on activating Deathrattle at the right time.

Macaw, Manasaber, and Titus Rivendare are essential. You should position them this way: Macaw, then Leapfrogger, Manasaber, and Titus.
Your weakness will be the fact you don't have any minions with Taunt, so I highly recommend you get a Sprightly Scarab as soon as possible. It grants +3/+3 and Taunt to one of your Beasts, and you should use it on a Manasaber.
If you don't have a Manasaber, or if you have any empty slots, pick one of the Beasts below. They are other ways to summon a minion with Deathrattle, or have Reborn themselves.

Only commit to this comp if you have Leapfrogger and Titus Rivendare.
Murlocs

With the comp above, the focus was doubling our Deathrattles, but, with this one, the focus is Battlecries, in particular Primalfin Lookout's. The idea is to use it to create many Murlocs, so Brann is essential.
So, look for other Murlocs with Battlecries and make your board even stronger. You'll double these effects with Brann and recast them at the end of the turn with Young Murk-Eye.

Some other cards are also essential, like Bream Counter. While it is in your hand, you'll buff it with Mrglin' Burglar and play it on the board through Bassgill's Deathrattle.

Another great addition, if you can, is Choral Mrrglr. He is a great minion in this composition.
When To Go For This Comp
Building this comp takes a while, so only focus on it when you find Brann and Young Murk-Eye, or Brann and the Nerglish Phrasebook Trinket.

Self Damage Demons

Finally, last but not least, we have a Demon comp. They're very strong, but there's a price: your life!
So, Soul Rewinder's effect is a must. He will both rewind the damage your hero took and gain +1 health whenever this happens.
Your goal, after putting it in play, is to deal as much damage to your own hero as you can. To do that, look for Malchezaar and Pilgrimp. If possible, get Wrath Weaver as well.

Percussionist's Battlecry deals a lot of damage to your hero, and you can also double it with Brann.

With so many self-damage tools, Tichondrius is essential. It will make your entire board stronger.

When to Go For This Comp
Soul Rewinder and Malchezaar are already enough to commit to this comp. Another great addition is the Rewinder Portrait Trinket.
